This updated guide replaces guidance published in 2016 (General Indemnity Scheme SIG 2: Determining Insurance Requirements for Goods and Services RFTs and Contracts) and reflects changes to the insurance market since 2016.

This updated self-assessment template has been designed to assist State Authorities in assessing insurance requirements for a goods or services contract or a Request for Tender.

It includes risk matrices to assist State Authorities in setting limits of indemnity for professional indemnity and cyber liability insurance.

This updated form has been redesigned to assist State Authorities in reviewing third-party organisations' insurance arrangements prior to entering into a contract for services.
