The State Claims Agency is the name given to the National Treasury Management Agency when performing its claims management and related risk management functions and, also, its legal costs management functions.
The National Treasury Management Agency board comprises nine members. Six members, including the Chairperson, are appointed by the Minister for Finance. The Chief Executive of the National Treasury Management Agency and the Secretaries General of the Departments of Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform are ex-officio
members of the board. The National Treasury Management Agency reports to the Minister for Finance.
The State Claims Agency Committee provides advice, guidance and challenge in respect of State Claims Agency strategic and policy issues. The State Claims Agency Committee comprises six members appointed by the State Claims Agency.
