A personal injury or third-party property damage claim may be submitted directly to the State Claims Agency or, in some instances, a State authority may receive the notice of claim. If you receive notice of a claim, please follow the procedure outlined here.
Yes, State authorities should get in touch with us if they receive notification of an inquest. You should forward the notification, and any available information, to us via stateclaims@ntma.ie, quoting the NIMS reference number if the incident giving rise to the inquest was previously reported on NIMS.
