The State Claims Agency hosted a virtual learning event for State authorities covered by the Clinical Indemnity Scheme on Tuesday, 25 November, which spotlighted learning from medication incidents and claims.
This webinar is part of the Clinical Risk Unit's rolling 'Clinical Risk Matters Series'. The session was attended by over 200 delegates from across the health and social care sector.

During the webinar, speakers from the Clinical Risk Unit focused on:
- updates on the work of the unit and clinical risk snapshot insights from incidents and claims
- safe use of Oxytocin in maternity services, including key learnings and advice and guidance on best practice
- learning from medication incidents and claims, including what can be learned from the reported data and how health and social care services can improve medication safety
