The State Claims Agency is pleased to announce the upgrade and re-launch of Work Positive CI (WPCI), a collaborative effort by the State Claims Agency, the Health and Safety Authority, and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Network Ireland.
What is Work PositiveCI ?
WPCI is a comprehensive framework developed to safeguard the psychological health and safety of workers in occupations susceptible to work-related stress and critical incidents. Since its initial launch in 2017, WPCI has received international recognition and has had significant engagement, with over 2,000 registered accounts, 350 surveys created, and 20,250 individual survey responses.
There is a statutory obligation on delegated State authorities to conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to address hazards in the workplace. The WPCI risk assessment framework facilitates you in evaluating workplace stress and implementing stress and CISM programs where necessary. Proper management of these risks can help reduce the incidence and cost of claims.
