The State Claims Agency will deliver the next in our rolling series of clinical risk webinars, focusing on learning from emergency department incidents and claims, on Tuesday, 5 November (12.30pm-1.30pm).
This learning event is aimed at State authorities covered by the Clinical Indemnity Scheme and will be relevant to all health and social care professionals.

This session will help you gain knowledge of areas that are high risk of patient harm in order to enhance patient safety.
You will learn about the Clinical Risk Unit’s new CLAIM project and what it means for publicly funded healthcare services. You will also learn how to complete a dangerous occurrence reporting form correctly.
- Spotlight on emergency department
This session will help you gain knowledge from the learnings of incidents and claims arising in the emergency department as well as provide risk management advice to assist those working in emergency departments to mitigate the risk of patient safety incidents.
