In 2006, the SCA newsletter was launched by the Clinical Indemnity Scheme (CIS) Risk Team. Since then, we’ve come a long way. In 2013, the scope of the newsletter was broadened to include both CIS and GIS (General Indemnity Scheme). This year, as our newsletter celebrates 10 years, we’re excited to launch our brand new eZine. For a copy, please refer to the eZine section.
In line with the State’s commitment to Open Government Partnership, including fiscal transparency, the SCA will now publish on its website, on a twice yearly basis, the number and cumulative total of all payments made in the preceding six months to the solicitor firms and barristers it has engaged.
A workshop will take place on the 05th November 2014 which will provide an outline on all stages of the psychosocial risk assessment specific to critical incidents to appropriate statutory bodies and other relevant organisations who are participating in the pilot of this tool.
