In 2013, the scope of the newsletter was broadened to include both CIS and GIS (General Indemnity Scheme). This year, as our newsletter celebrates 10 years, we’re excited to launch our brand new eZine. For a copy, please refer to the eZine section.
This guidance document will assist the SCA’s Delegated State Authorities (DSA) in determining and checking third party insurances. It provides a practical tool kit for use by DSAs with the overall goal of demystifying the area of insurance and third party contracts.
In line with the State’s commitment to Open Government Partnership, including fiscal transparency, the SCA will now publish on its website, on a twice yearly basis, the number and cumulative total of all payments made in the preceding six months to the solicitor firms and barristers it has engaged.
